Lauren Stumpf, previously Media Communications and Client Services Specialist, has taken on a new role at Rancho Mesa as Marketing and Media Communications Specialist, where she will be able to focus on enhancing marketing and media strategy.

In her new role, Lauren will be instrumental in shaping marketing and media efforts at Rancho Mesa. She will serve as an essential strategist in brand management. This includes social media planning, podcasts and video production, website management, and public relations strategies. She will also assist in client technology for select clients.

We are thrilled to have Lauren’s experience and professionalism in this new role at Rancho Mesa.

Megan Lockhart, who previously served as the "Media Communications & Client Services Coordinator" at Rancho Mesa, has embarked on an exciting new journey in her role as the "Client Communications Coordinator." In her new position, Megan is spearheading efforts to enhance Rancho Mesa’s client communication strategies.

One of Megan's primary responsibilities is the creation of informative training content and materials, ensuring clients have the knowledge they need for a seamless digital experience within Rancho Mesa’s SafetyOne™ Desktop & Mobile App and the RM365 HRAdvantage™ portal. She also plays a crucial role in writing safety and industry news articles and keeping clients up-to-date with relevant information via the production of multimedia content, including StudioOne™ podcasts, videos, workshops and webinars.

Through her efforts, Megan is helping Rancho Mesa deliver on its commitment to providing exceptional service and support to its valued clients.

Employee Spotlight: Kathryn Zamora Becomes Safety Star Certified in Construction

Rancho Mesa would like to congratulate client technology coordinator, Kathryn Zamora, for recently earning her certification in construction safety as a part of the RM365 Advantage Safety Star™ program.

The courses in the Safety Star program teach important topics relating to construction safety in the workplace to help employers mitigate job-related injuries. Fall protection, ladder safety, heat illness prevention, and fleet safety are a few of the courses participants must pass in order to earn their certification in construction safety.

“Our Safety Star Program helped me learn about the safety requirements and standards in our client's industries,” Zamora said. “Now, I can confidently recommend the material in each course to clients looking to improve their safety programs.”

The Safety Star Program is just one way Rancho Mesa ensures our team understands the industry-specific risks our clients are exposed to in order to help mitigate them.   

New Employee Spotlight: Rancho Mesa Welcomes Reina Maniscalco

Rancho Mesa would like to announce a new addition to the team, Reina Maniscalco as a Client Coordinator.

Reina has over 15 years of impressive customer service experience in both the health care and construction industries. Most recently, she ran her husband's grading and excavation company, which helps her better understand our construction clients’ needs.

Although Reina has lived in many different states throughout her life, she is native to San Diego and loves living here. Outside of work, Reina likes cooking and watching her daughter play basketball. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, boating, and road tripping in nature.

Reina has a passion for helping others. Her years of experience make her a valuable addition to her new team. We are thrilled to see what her future holds at Rancho Mesa.

Rancho Mesa is excited to introduce a new member to our Media Communications & Client Services department Kathryn Zamora, as Client Technology Coordinator.

Kathryn grew up in North County, San Diego. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021 with a degree in journalism and a minor in sports media, Kathryn gained career experience working in marketing, acquisitions and technical writing fields.   

With her education and career background, Kathryn will be a great asset to the department. Her role will focus on client services needs, supporting clients in utilizing our risk management tools such as the SafetyOne™ platform and RM365 HRAdvantage™ portal.

“I'm enjoying getting to know everyone and learning more about the industry from some incredible role models. I'm really looking forward to growing with Rancho Mesa and supporting this team,” Zamora said.

Rancho Mesa is excited to introduce Kelly Boman, the newest addition to our client coordinator team.

Kelly brings over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, along with a thorough background in human resources. Having already earned her insurance license, Kelly is “thrilled to be back in the insurance industry” and we look forward to her future with Rancho Mesa.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading, playing Mario Kart with her kids, and wine tasting with friends. She also loves to travel, her favorite destination being Belgium.

With her industry experience and positive attitude, we are elated to have Kelly on the Rancho Mesa team.

Rancho Mesa's growing team welcomes a new addition to the accounting department with Tanisha Ranaglia as an accounting assistant.

Throughout her career, Tanisha has gained over 15 years of customer service, inventory and operations experience, making her equipped for her new role in the accounting department.

Tanisha is a San Diego native, and was born and raised in East County. Outside of work, Tanisha enjoys cooking, cheering on her son at his baseball games, and watching the Padres play.

Rancho Mesa is thankful to have Tanisha's valued skills and experience on the team, and we are excited for her future at the company.

Rancho Mesa Welcomes Bryn Frazee as Intern

Rancho Mesa’s Media Communications and Client Services department would like to introduce the newest addition to its team, intern Bryn Frazee.

Bryn is currently a student at New York University, pursuing a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Acting. With her passion for storytelling and eagerness to learn, Bryn will be developing her media and communication skills in the department over the summer.

Bryn grew up in San Diego, CA and splits her time between home and attending college in Manhattan, NY. She enjoys live theater, cinematography, and spending time with her loved ones.

While originally born in Northern California, Keriann grew up a San Diego native. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees at San Diego State University.

Keriann’s diverse career background in theater arts and customer service has developed her skills in communication and makes her a valuable contributor to the team. She will aid in certificates of insurance and office reception duties. We look forward to her future at Rancho Mesa.

In her free time, Keriann enjoys reading books, writing, connecting with friends, and spending time with her two cats, Luna and Sunny.

Employee Spotlight: Megan Smidt Earns MLIS Certification

Client Manager in the Human Services Group, Megan Smidt, took an important new stride in her career by earning her MLIS® certification on Tuesday, January 24.

The Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS®) designation is an educational program for insurance professionals and risk managers. It requires five core courses as well as 6 hours of approved continuing education credits to maintain the designation each year.

“Megan's achievement demonstrates such a strong commitment to her craft and Rancho Mesa's clients. I honestly couldn't be prouder to have her as a Human Services Group team member,” Sam Brown, Vice President of the Human Services Group, said. “She is setting the bar high!”

Megan has nearly a decade of experience working in the insurance industry. Rancho Mesa is proud of her hard work and dedication to advancing her career and for setting a OneofOne® example in the industry.
