Employee Spotlight: Whitney Chiriboga Promoted to Account Coordinator

Rancho Mesa is pleased to announce and congratulate Whitney Chiriboga on her promotion to Account Coordinator.

Whitney's experience in customer service and the certificate department makes her transition to Account Coordinator a perfect fit.

Whitney was born and raised in San Diego. She grew up playing tennis and moved to Northern California to attend Sonoma State University where she graduated in 2017. She traveled for a month in Europe after graduating and besides traveling, loves spending time with friends and family and being near the beach, as much as possible.

Employee Spotlight: Casey Craig visits Lambeau Field with Sentry Insurance Company

Casey Craig, Rancho Mesa’s PaintOne™ program director, was the guest of Sentry Insurance Company at the Green Bay Packers vs. the Arizona Cardinals game played at historic Lambeau Field on December 2, 2018. Casey is pictured with Dennis Levesque, the Regional Vice President, along with Nic Hernandez, West Coast Underwriting Manager for Sentry.

Casey, as one of only three brokers from California in attendance, was selected for this amazing bucket-list trip based on both his and Rancho Mesa’s relationship with Sentry. It was truly at trip of firsts for Casey as he experienced his first sub 32 degree tailgate as well as behind the scenes tour of the historic venue.

Rancho Mesa Celebrates the Holidays!

December 1, 2018 marked the beginning of the holiday season and Rancho Mesa’s annual Christmas Party at the San Diego Yacht Club on Shelter Island.

Staff and guests enjoyed an evening filled with food, drinks, music, casino games, prizes and holiday cheer.

Lauren is a recent communications graduate looking to develop her career in media, public relations and corporate communications.

She enjoys the outdoors and likes to spend her time at the beach, hiking, and traveling with friends and family. She grew up in Mendocino, CA and has moved to San Diego to advance her communications career.

Employee Spotlight: John Parker Earns CRIS Designation

John Parker, an Account Manager at Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, recently earned his Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation through the International Risk Management Institute.

“The Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) program is a specialized curriculum focusing on the insurance and risk management needs of construction projects and contractors,” according to IRMI.

As a member of the Rancho Mesa Construction Group, John’s training has allowed him to gain a specialized expertise in both construction insurance and risk management that will directly benefit his construction clients.

Rancho Mesa Bowls for Charity at IICF 11th Annual Tournament

Rancho Mesa’s Yvonne Gallagher, John Parker, Jeremy Hoolihan and Sam Brown participated in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) 11th Annual Bowling for Charity tournament on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Kearny Mesa Bowl.

The annual event raises funds to support grants, volunteer service and leadership to local nonprofit organizations.

Rancho Mesa Insurance Services is pleased to announce Jose Cuellar has returned to our team as an Account Manager.

Jose has been in the insurance industry for 20+ years, primarily as an Account Manager specializing in the construction industry. He is working with Sam Clayton and Casey Craig. 

Family is a big part of Jose's life, as well as, good friends, and a trip here and there. On the weekend, he coaches and manages an adult softball team with players ranging from 23 to 50.
