Rancho Mesa Joins Daart Engineering Co at CalCPA Golf Tournament
Rancho Mesa’s Executive Vice President Daniel Frazee and Client Manager Kelsey McPherson joined clients Chris and Stephanie Cassady of Daart Engineering Company, Inc. at the CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter Golf Tournament on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Beautiful weather at the Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside, CA made a perfect setting to raise funds for the CalCPA’s education scholarship foundation. Other attendees included CPA’s, bankers, attorneys, and contractors throughout the Riverside area.
The Daart and Rancho Mesa team won the Client Flight by scoring a 4 under par 68 in the tournament scramble format.

On Saturday, October 8, Rancho Mesa brought Sentry Insurance partners in to our mutual clients to a night of football and fun at the SDSU Snapdragon Stadium.

On Saturday, October 8, Rancho Mesa brought in Sentry Insurance partners, along with mutual clients, for a night of football and fun at the SDSU Snapdragon Stadium.
Clients Benchmark Landscape, Pacific Green Landscape, The Land Stewards, Century Painting, and Sea Crest Services, along with Rancho Mesa and Sentry executives enjoyed an Aztec victory against the University of Hawaii while making valuable personal connections.
“It was an awesome night with great people. It was really fun to have Sentry and our mutual customers together to enjoy a fun night and build more meaningful partnerships,” said Drew Garcia, Rancho Mesa’s Vice President of the Landscape Group.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2022, Rancho Mesa employees gathered in the Santee office conference room to hear about the importance of 401k plans while enjoying a catered lunch for its second “Lunch and Learn” event.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2022, Rancho Mesa employees gathered in the Santee office conference room to hear about the importance of 401k plans while enjoying a catered lunch for its second “Lunch and Learn” event.
Rancho Mesa’s leadership hosts these events for team members as a part of its continued commitment to employee personal development.
James Pierik of Stratos Wealth Partners, outlined what 401k plans are, how they work, and the value of company matching. He also emphasized the importance of starting this strategic financial planning early in one’s career.
Rancho Mesa is happy to offer events such as these in order to support its team members not only in their career but also outside the office.

On Friday, September 23, 2022, United Cerebral Palsy Association of San Diego County (UCP) hosted their 39th Annual Celebrity Waiters Luncheon on Coronado Island, CA.
Rancho Mesa’s Dave Garcia, Lori Stone, Alyssa Burley, and Christina Haake were honored to attend as guests of Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies. San Diego firefighters, local TV personalities, sports mascots such as the Padre’s Swinging Friar, celebrities, Hollywood look-a-likes, and generous supporters helped raise over $62,000. The proceeds benefit UCP’s mission to assist people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Coach Steve Fisher and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Matt Soria – Surprise Guests at the Rancho Mesa Snapdragon Suite
Legendary and former San Diego State head basketball coach Steve Fisher along with current San Diego State assistant basketball coach Matt Soria made a surprise visit to the Rancho Mesa Snapdragon Stadium suite to greet Dave Garcia, Drew Garcia, and the rest of the Rancho Mesa leadership team at Saturday’s opening game.

Legendary and former San Diego State head basketball coach Steve Fisher along with current San Diego State assistant basketball coach Matt Soria made a surprise visit to the Rancho Mesa Snapdragon Stadium suite to greet Dave Garcia, Drew Garcia, and the rest of the Rancho Mesa leadership team at Saturday’s opening game.
“What an amazing surprise and honor it was to have Coach Fisher and Matt take the time to stop by and say hello,” said Dave Garcia.
Dave continued on to say that he and his sons Drew and Greg have formed a friendship over the last few years with both Coach Fisher and Matt.
“Coach Fisher is not only an amazing basketball coach but an even better person. I feel like Drew, Greg, and I have not only learned how to become better leaders from him but also how to be better men,” said Dave Garcia.
Although the game did not turn out how the Aztec fans had hoped, the team at Rancho Mesa got a memory to share for years to come. Thank you Coach Fisher and Matt Soria – Go Aztecs!

“It’s no surprise that Munie achieved this type of safety recognition. President Joe Munie and his team are consistent in everything they do.” said Drew Garcia, Vice President of the Landscape Group at Rancho Mesa.
Munie Greencare received the Gold Overall Safety Achievement for having no injuries and illnesses, and zero days away from work.

They have applied their safe work culture to a large variety of customer offered services in their multi-state operations,” says Keith Smith, Loss Control Supervisor at BHHC. “Their employee commitment to applied operational safety continues to keep injury frequency low compared to similar companies.”

Rancho Mesa would like to congratulate team member Rachel Bristol for her well-deserved promotion from Client Coordinator to Assistant Client Manager.
Rachel joined Rancho Mesa in 2019 as a receptionist and Certician® and was promoted to Client Coordinator in 2020. Throughout the past 2 years, she has assisted in training many current client coordinators. Bristol also gained valuable experience working closely with client managers to prepare for her new role.
“This promotion means so much to me. It has truly been a journey for me over the past three years, and I feel like I have come so far and learned so much,” Bristol said. “I look forward to building relationships with clients and continuing to master the ins and outs of their accounts. I am grateful to be a part of the Rancho Mesa Team.”
We are proud of Rachel’s career milestone and look forward to seeing all she will accomplish in the future.
