Client Spotlight: Toward Maximum Independence

Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc. is pleased to highlight Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) in the Client Spotlight.  

"TMI advocates for the belief that disability does not mean inability," according to its website. "Independence and self-responsibility are fostered by respect for the individual’s autonomy and by empowering the individual to make informed decisions. It is important that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their potential competence with opportunities to perform functional and meaningful activities or work with support if needed to promote success."

Toward Maximum Independence, Inc. was founded on the belief that people with developmental disabilities have hopes, dreams, and the drive to contribute to their community just like those without disabilities, and that every person has the right to full inclusion in society. Here, in this video, are just a few of the clients TMI has helped.
