Employee Spotlight: Brenda Khalil Becomes Safety Star Certified in Construction

Rancho Mesa congratulates client technology coordinator, Brenda Khalil, for earning her certification in construction safety as a part of our RM365 Advantage Safety Star™ program.

The courses in the Safety Star program teach important topics relating to construction safety in the workplace to help employers mitigate job-related injuries. Fall protection, ladder safety, heat illness prevention, and fleet safety are a few of the courses participants must pass in order to earn their certification in construction safety.

“Participating in the Safety Star program is a key factor in helping our clients mitigate risks. Gaining knowledge from getting certified, plays an essential role in understanding the risks within many industries and better allows me to assist our clients in implementing an effective safety culture throughout their organization,“ Khalil said.

Employee Spotlight: Ashley Hunter Promoted to Client Manager

We are proud to announce Ashley Hunter’s recent promotion from Assistant Client Manager to Client Manager.

Since her start in 2018 as a receptionist and Certician®, Ashley has been committed to her career. Through her hard work and dedication to her team, Ashley was promoted from Client Coordinator to Assistant Client Manager in 2022 within the Landscape and Tree Care Group where she furthered her client management skills and insurance knowledge.

Throughout her career here, Ashley has remained a reliable and valuable member of her team. Her hard work and experience, including training many other team members, has prepared her for the client manager role.

Rancho Mesa Insurance Services is proud to announce the newest addition to its growing team, Natalie Aguayo as Assistant Client Manager.

Natalie has nearly 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly working in account management roles. She has also earned a Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development. 

Originally from Diamond Bar, Natalie recently moved to San Diego and has enjoyed every minute. Outside of work, she likes visiting the beach, attending live shows, and finding new brunch restaurants with her friends. 

Natalie’s years of insurance experience and professional skills make her a valuable addition to our team. We look forward to her future at Rancho Mesa.

Rancho Mesa is happy to welcome the newest member of our team, Olivia Velasco as a Client Manager in the Human Service Group.

Olivia brings with her an impressive 23 years of experience in insurance, and has dedicated over a decade of her career specifically to the commercial lines side of the industry. In the past, Olivia has worked for a variety of agencies, supporting client needs and managing their accounts.

Olivia was born in Florida but grew up in San Diego. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and discovering new restaurants, as well as camping, being active, and utilizing her makeup artist skills at all types of events.

Velasco’s extensive experience and professional skills make her a major asset to the team, and we are excited for her future at Rancho Mesa.

Rancho Mesa is proud to announce the newest addition to our growing account management team, Joyce Flores, as Senior Client Manager.

Joyce has 18 years of insurace experience. Throughout her career, Joyce has also earned her AIS, AINS, and CISR Designations, making her a valuable new member of the team.

Though originally from Northern California, Joyce has lived in San Diego since 2010. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her son play basketball, and listening to and watching live music. She also likes training and spending time with her two new rescue dogs.  

With Flores’s years of insurance experience and professionalism, we are excited to welcome her to the team and we look forward to her future at Rancho Mesa.

Georgina has 8 years of experience in the construction industry, managing services and small projects. Most recently, she has worked in project management and dispatch roles for mechanical and piping contractors.

A San Diego native, Diaz spends much of her free time exploring the city with her toddler. She enjoys the beach, amusement parks, and spending time with her friends and family.

Georgina’s customer service skills and construction knowledge make her a valuable asset to our team of client coordinators. We are excited for her future at Rancho Mesa.

Employee Spotlight: Rancho Mesa Welcomes Jadyn Brandt to Media Communications Team

Rancho Mesa is pleased to introduce a new member to our Media Communications department, Jadyn Brandt, as Client Communications Coordinator.

Jadyn graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies. Through her education and career experience, Jadyn has gained diverse knowledge in writing, media production, and communications, specifically as a producer for a news media group. She uses these well-developed skills to support the Media Communications team.

“I'm excited to be working with the team at Rancho Mesa, and I look forward to learning and growing in this industry,” Brandt said.

Jadyn is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived in San Diego since 2018. In her free time, she enjoys biking, playing soccer, and going to the beach.

We are grateful to have Jadyn’s experience, insight, and positivity on our team, and we are excited for her future at Rancho Mesa.

Rancho Mesa Welcomes New Partner Rory Anderson to Ownership Team

Account Executive, Rory Anderson, has recently made an exciting step with Rancho Mesa, becoming the newest partner in the company.

Rory joined Rancho Mesa in 2019 as an Account Executive. Since his start, Anderson has dedicated his book of business exclusively to the tree care industry.

Rory was offered the partnership in recognition of his dedication and accomplishments, furthering Rancho Mesa’s success.

“I’m so excited and proud to welcome Rory to our ownership group. His work ethic, interpersonal skills, and strong character are all attributes we are looking for in building our present and future leadership team, I couldn’t be happier to have Rory join that group,” President Dave Garcia said.

Throughout her time here, Maria has excelled working in a variety of industries and has gained the essential experience for her new role. Her hard work and dedication has earned her this promotion to Assistant Client Manager, where she will give more hands-on assistants to client managers.

Employee Spotlight: Rachel Bristol Promoted to Client Manager

We are pleased to congratulate Rachel Bristol on her recent promotion from Assistant Client Manager to Client Manager.

Rachel recently celebrated her 5th anniversary with Rancho Mesa. Since her start in 2019 as a receptionist and Certician©, Rachel has made impressive career strides, moving up to Client Coordinator the following year.

Through her excellent dedication to her team, supporting client managers, she was then promoted to the Assistant Client Manager role in 2022, where she continued to excel and expand her responsibilities.
Throughout her career, Rachel has become our most accomplished client coordinator trainer, dedicating much of her time to training her new team members. In the past two years especially, Rachel has gained valuable experience assisting client managers while also maintaining her own book of clients, to prepare for her new role.

“I am thrilled about my promotion to the position of Client Manager. I look forward to being more hands-on with our clients and taking on new challenges,” Bristol said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn.”
