Client Spotlight: Interfaith Community Services

Rancho Mesa is pleased to highlight Interfaith Community Services, an organization that empowers people in need to stabilize and improve their lives through comprehensive programs, in partnership with diverse faith communities and people of compassion.  Here is their story. 

Interfaith Community Services needs your support! Ultimately envisioned as a one-stop shop, wrap-around support center for low-income individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues, Interfaith's Recovery & Wellness Center will support critical overlapping elements of care, including: medically monitored detox, sobering mats for short-term recovery, intensive 90-day residential treatment, recuperative care, outpatient recovery services and after-care programs. While we have partnerships with the public & private hospital systems, law enforcement, community health centers, local government and more, Interfaith needs YOUR community support for this project!

Interfaith Community Services was founded in 1979 by a handful of diverse faith communities to address the needs of low-income, homeless and under-served people in North San Diego County.  Separately, these congregations were providing relief to people in need, but by creating Interfaith they were able to collaborate to make a bigger impact on the needs of the people in our community.  For more information, visit www.interfaithservices.org.
